At Turna we take privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it and what rights you have over it.

1. Data we collect

When you use Turna, we collect only:

• Account data: name, email address and password (encrypted).
• App data: calendars, shifts, events and notes that you create.
• Technical data: IP address (for security and abuse prevention).

2. How we use your data

• To provide you with the shift calendar service.
• To let you share calendars with other users.
• To send you emails related to your account (password recovery, welcome).
• To protect the security of your account (detecting unauthorised access attempts).

3. Data we do NOT collect

• We do not collect location data.
• We do not collect contacts from your phone.
• We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
• We do not use your data for personalised advertising.

4. Storage and security

Your data is stored on secure servers located in Europe (OVH, France). Passwords are stored encrypted using secure hashing algorithms. Communications between the app and the server are encrypted with HTTPS/TLS.

5. Calendar sharing

When you share a calendar with another user, that person will be able to see the shifts and events in that calendar. You control who you share with and you can revoke access at any time.

6. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

• Access: request a copy of your data.
• Rectification: correct inaccurate data.
• Erasure: request the deletion of your account and all your data.
• Portability: request your data in a digital format.

7. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed from our servers.

8. Minors

Turna is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this policy from time to time. Any change will be published on this page together with the date it was updated.
